Dr. Steven Simpson (Senior Consultant)

Dr. Steven Simpson is a professor of recreation management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is the former editor of the Journal of Experiential Education, the premier research journal specializing in experiential education. Dr. Simpson received a Fulbright Fellowship at National Taiwan University in Taipei. He has published over 50 articles on experiential education, recreation management and environmental studies. Besides, he is the author of the book, "The Leader Who Is Hardly Known: Self-Less Teaching from the Chinese Tradition" and the co-creator of IEE's Chiji Processing Cards, an influential facilitation tool in experiential education.
