Mr. Dan Miller (Senior Consultant)
Mr. Dan Miller is the vice president of the Institute for Experiential Education (IEE), an American experiential education institute concentrating on delivering training programs and developing quality facilitation skills with the aid of its renowned Chiji Processing Cards. Dan's primary responsibility is to design and implement programs in meeting the specific needs of clients with different backgrounds that IEE serves.

Dan has over a decade of experience in the field and has made dozens of conference presentations and published numerous articles on processing. Dan is also the former technical director for the ropes and challenge course at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse campus and is formerly the director of Experiential Education for the Family and Children's Center, an organization for youth at risk. For the past seven years, he has consulted with a professional ropes course builder, ABEE (Adventure Based Experiential Education, Inc.), where he has designed and built indoor and outdoor ropes courses, trained and certified hundreds of ropes course facilitators around the world.

Dr. Steven Simpson (Senior Consultant)
Dr. Steven Simpson is a professor and graduate director of recreation management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He is the former editor of the Journal of Experiential Education, the premier research journal specializing in experiential education.

Dr. Simpson received a Fulbright Fellowship at National Taiwan University in Taipei. He published over 50 articles on experiential education, recreation management and environmental studies. He is also the author of the book, "The Leader Who Is Hardly Known: Self-Less Teaching from the Chinese Tradition" and the co-creator of IEE's Chiji Processing Cards, an influential facilitation tool in experiential education.
